Yes!! No matter what anyone says, Sophie and Keefe are perfect for each other. I mean, both have suffered heartbreak beyond comparison (Sophie had to give up her first family, Keefe's dad ignores him and Lady Gisela is just awful), and plus, Sophie has learned so much from Keefe, like how to hide behind humor. They always make each other feel better, and what has Fitz done? He's the Golden Child in the Golden Family, and sure, his brother's a jerk, but let's face it, that hit Biana way harder than it hit him. Also, what's the deal with Fitz mooning over Linh? Sophie deserves someone loyal, kind, funny, adventurous, etc. But he also can't be perfect (cough* Fitz* cough), and has to be able to come to Sophie with everything. Add all those together, and what do you get? KEEFEEEEEEEEEE.
Edit: (LEGACY SPOILERS) It happened. Fitz has exploded. After learning that Sophie wouldn’t be registering for the Match because she wouldn’t reveal her mom’s identity, Fitz literally exploded. He said it was HIS choice, too. It wasn’t up to Sophie. Someone else should decide, but no, not Sophie, because this was Fitz’s decision, apparently. No. It’s not. This is Sophie’s life. Not his. Sophie’s. And if you’re going to sit around moaning and then expect FORGIVENESS from her, then you’re wrong. Sophie deserves much better.

OF COURSE. Prediction: Sophie doesn't tell Fitz about her unmatchability (we all know this is gonna happen). Fitz finds out weeks later and blows up. Eventually, he comes around, but the damage has already been done, and this time it's permanent. They break up. Keefe comforts her, and she finally (FINALLY) admits to herself her feelings for him.

I am so sorry. But no. (please don't maul me) I do think that Sophie deserves better than Fitz, but think about it. He was the first person who ever really cared about her (besides Alden and Della) when she first came to the elvin cities. He risked his family's reputation and legacy by going and looking for her ALL OVER THE WORLD MIND YOU. He loves her just the way she is, alicorn and all. I know a lot of you guys have your own opinion about it but please don't try to change anybody's mind because you think that Fitz has "anger issues" and is "too perfect."

Yes!!! I have always rooted for Keefe and Sophie. Everyone is supporting Sophitz but I just can't get past the awful way Fitz treated her in Exile after Alden's mind broke. It was never Sophie's fault but he was a total jerk to her and Sophie didn't deserve it. TEAM KEEFE

YESS!!! Sophie and Keefe's relationship is actually deep on an emotional level, where they share secret and comfort each other, whereas Fitzphie is just Fitz smiling and Sophie blushing. Fitz also has a tendency to lose his temper and blame Sophie for everything that goes wrong, but Keefe has always been caring and supportive of Sophie!

Of course. Did anyone forget what Keefe said?: What you think you feel in your head is not the same thing that you actually feel in your heart. And Sophie is so convince that she likes Fitz (I mean, don't blame her, Fitz is cute and he is her first crush), but her first instinct is to protect Keefe, and since he already read her feelings at the end of Lodestar (and it seems like they were good news for Keefe) there is no doubt the ALL the books are being a very-well-done base for Team Foster-Keefe (and Fitz is a jerk, not that should matter but instead). Fitz will be so stress out about the matchmaking status of Sophie, while Keefe will show that he doesn't care about it... and THAT will make the diference (but Sophie already likes Keefe, even if she don't want to see it).

Definitely, so far Fitz and Sophie is a couple but that just doesn’t make sense. all Fitz have done was get upset at Sophie when Alden’s sanity broke, while Keefe has actually helped Sophie through the time when she had the echo.

I just need to wonder, how is Shannon Messenger going to resolve all of the romantic stuff? because when Sophie ends up with Keefe, all of the fitzphie fans will be pissed, so how will it work out? cuz I swear if Sophie ends up with Fitz, I will burn all of my kotlc books. Also, if you look on the inside cover of legacy, it shows a drawing of Sophie and Keefe together, and Fitz on the side, looking sad. or at least my copy does. I think that It is basically impossible for Sophie to end up with Fitz because Shannon Messenger already revealed that Keefe likes Sophie. SO I neeeeeeed the 9th book to come out asap so that Sophie and Keefe can like finally kiss, and then Fitz will see them and be super sad. Yes! I read this book and it was disappointing. It is still good that fitz and sophie broke up because now keefe has a better chance getting sophie. Also I think sophie knows what is right for her because when fitz asked if they wanted to be boyfriend and girlfriend she said no.

YES!! Sophie and Fitz were cute in the first book, but I highlighted/ documented cute moments with Fitzphie and cute moments with Sokeefe. There were cute moments with Fitz, so I was ALL for Fitzphie for the first half of the book. And then Sophie met Keefe. 😭🥺❤️🥺💍🥰 Keefe and Sophie just CLICKED together like magnets. And while Sophie and Fitz clicked too, it was considerably less, and it was forced. ALSO: FITZ WAS ALL OVER LIHN. LIKE BRO??? I have a theory...... Fitz is mostly interested in power over personality. He met the *most powerful* elf in existence, and he was all over her. He literally FORCED Sophie into liking him. And he STILL lost his temper all the time. And as soon as he saw Lihn's power and control over water, he couldn't take his frickin eyes off of Lihn. Keefe never- and I mean NEVER- loved anyone other than Sophie. ALSO. THERE. WERE. SO. MANY. CLUES. AND. HINTS. THAT. SOPHIE. LIKED. KEEFE. Lord Cassius literally said (and I quote) "You may hide these feelings from yourself, but you cannot hide them from me." HE SAID AS HE WAS TALKING ABOUT KEEFE!!!!!! I can't even count the sweet moments that Sokeefe had..... and they had so much in common! 1: They cared about everyone else over themselves. In the big Exile heist, Sophie pulled out her biggest piece of bribery that she had over the council. She could have mad it out alive with most of her team, but she sacrificed Kenric's cache to save everyone. Keefe joined the Neverseen to work as a double agent because he thought he could help Sophie. He cares so much about her, just the way he acts when they're alone is enough to make me want to melt ❤️❤️. And like Keefe said:✨ TEAM FOSTER-KEEFE WILL ALWAYS BE BETTER ✨

This book is king of boring. This is the slowest and boring est book I’ve ever read the sky fall series is much better. I mean Sophie and fits haven’t even made out yet. What’s the point of reading the book!?

I can see both sides because will Fitz does have anger issues he try's to help Sophie in many ways. Fitz does make mistakes but as a lot of you pointed out he is the Golden Boy... he has never had many kinds of struggles with makes it that much harder. Keefe on the other hand has had struggles and has always been there for Sophie. He also try's everything he can to take some weight of her soldiers. You also have to look at it from Sophie's point of view.... she does not get the Elvin world. she is also trying to finger out her own feelings. well I love both Fitz and Keefe I'm leaning more to the Keefe side because he always makes Sophie happy unlike Fitz who sends Sophie mixed messages. at one point he calls her his sister, that was a few books ago though.
