How do you get inspired to write?

Cameron DeCessna Sometimes I can hardly sit still as ideas begin to form and whirl around in my head. Most stories come to me at bedtime, when I'm relazed. If the idea is very good, I sometimes get up and jot a few notes. Other stories get started in different ways. Clay Parker began as I looked at some old family photos of my grandfather and the trains he worked around in Cumberland, Maryland where the B&O, Pennsylvania and Western Maryland Railroads met and interacted.
