I've now listened to the first hour of this 'winner in humor' category. So far it's the saddest, least-humor piece I've read/heard all year, or ever. I understand I should continue this heart-breaking endeavour for the sake of it, but can someone please explain the 'humor' to me?! I thought it would be funny. :-(

If you can't laugh at the bad shit in life then what have you got? It's funny the way she tells it, all about the delivery. The stuff isn't always funny, but it's her voice that lightens the material. Maybe if you'd read it and not had an audio book it might have come across differently? But I do get it, it's not for everyone.
