Goodreads asked Rebecca Balcárcel:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Rebecca Balcárcel 1) I write something totally different! This lifts my head out of my work-in-progress. If I'm working on a novel, I might write a poem or a blog post. That gets my writing muscles flexing, making it easier to return to the scene I'm stuck on.
2) I read poetry or re-read favorite books! This refuels my word-brain.
3) I lower my standards! It sounds crazy, but giving myself permission to write badly often loosens the logjam. I remind myself that sloppy, boring, cliché-ridden pages can be revised.
