Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Lissa Lynn Thomas The idea for Renegade Heart actually came from a song, the bones of it anyway. This song called Small Town Saturday Night by Hal Ketchum came on and I got to thinking about how life is different in a small town. You feel like you're living your life on a stage. Like you're under a microscope. And then I thought about four friends and how they'd all have a different take on it, because their circumstances aren't identical. And then I turned them into a band called Renegades and it all sort of fell into place.
