I listen to music, I watch anime, I read. Some of those ideas form and mix together, creating several ideas, and then finally a garbled mess. I don't ever understand them until I let it fester and stir, they then become an idea. From there, I research, and design a play list as I imagine my scenes, and then continue to watch different anime or tv shows.
