I like your characters Lynely and Barbara Havers. They are so typically British. I can tell because I live in Europe. As you live so far away from England in the United States: How do you succeed in writing these stories? Do you travel a lot?

Elizabeth George I travel a lot in England and have done so since 1966. I read a lot of British authors. I watch an enormous amount of British TV.
