Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Caitlin Hicks My most recent book, KENNEDY GIRL, is the continuing story of Annie Shea, the lovable protagonist of A THEORY OF EXPANDED LOVE, which takes place in 1963. Five years later, Annie is 17 years old. 1968 is a big year for historical events, and I thought it would be interesting to put her into the midst of the turmoil of the sixties, while she was just getting a grip on her own identity.
