Hiya Pen. I know you get asked a lot of author questions all the time, so I had some questions for you as a reader. Do you prefer reading on tablet or paperback? Who is your top book boyfriend? What book trope is your favorite to read?

Hey, Sarah!
I prefer hard copy books, although I do read on my phone from time to time. I think I just want my daughter to see me with an actual book in my hand, so she knows I'm reading and not Facebooking ;)
My top book boyfriend...hmmmm, probably whatever hero is in a YA book I'm reading at the time. I have 0 loyalty, and whatever strikes my fancy changes, but I really love the heroes being written for teenagers today. Right now, it's Hideo Tanaka from Warcross. My daughter and I got to a great part in the audiobook on the way to school today, and I couldn't resist going forward and listening to another chapter without her after I dropped her off. Now I have to go rewind it to where she and I left off, so she's none the wiser lol :D She gets really mad if I listen without her.
As for tropes, like I said I have no favorite anything really. If the blurb strikes me, I read the book. I really love taboo right now, though, so forbidden really interests me. It's hard to find legitimately forbidden relationships today, since we have a much more tolerant society, so in addition to Birthday Girl, I'm daydreaming of another one I hope to get around to writing soon.
Thanks for the questions!!

Hey Pen, quick comment & a question :D First, as an aspiring writer myself, you are a HUGE inspiration to me. I've read everything you've written (except Misconduct - I'm halfway through!) & love your writing/style, so thank you for inspiring me <3 Also, how many books are you planning for the spin-off? One for each kid? Or will Dylan be sharing a book with whomever her love is? *cough* Hunter *cough* haha :p
