I agree with Gal gilboa.
I would simply add that his approach is close to sociologic constructivism, which means that he tries to understand the social and psychological mecanisms of scientific research.
Other than that, I would classify his relation to science as an instrumental one. Scientific "truths" are only good as long as they serve us well, an instrument of some sort. When a new paradigm emerges, it's because it is a more useful instrument to understand the world.
