Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Clifford N. Rosenthal I have spent my career working to bring capital and economic opportunity to low-income and minority communities. I was the cofounder of the movement that is the subject of my book, Democratizing Capital: Origins of the Community Development Financial Institutions Movement. As the movement reached a milestone--20 years--it seemed a particularly good time to consider it in historical perspective.
