Bruce Williams
Bruce Williams asked Viktor James:

Read "Teaching Frankenstein". I hope you continue to write. You have real talent. Your descriptions of the interactions of your characters reminds me of "Catch 22". There is a gift in a writer who can write dialog and humor as you do. You may have intended to write a descriptive piece, but maybe Heller thought he was writing a history?

Viktor James Bruce, thank you. It's always great to hear someone enjoyed the book.

Admittedly, I've tried to read Catch 22 several times, but life somehow seemed to move me away from the novel each time. It is still on my ever-growing "must read list."

I've always walked the line between humor and description. With TF, I wanted to show my readers an authentic experience, not simply of a teacher, but of someone trying to understand what it takes to succeed. Humor keeps the melancholy at bay, and I'm grateful you found laughter through the pages.

I hope to have my next novel ready by October of 2019.

I'll see you then.
