As I was reading, I noticed your books Horizon and Infinity seem to have a lot of references to Supernatural, a TV show. Is this purposeful?

My books are science fiction, set in another time and place. While I love me some Sam and Dean, I've never referenced anything from the Supernatural TV show in my books.
