What inspired you to write "The Good Samaritan"? Also, are you writing a sequel? If not, where do you imagine the characters are at now? I've had quite a few fun ideas but wanted to see what direction you'd have taken.

John Marrs Hi Kelly, it was a friend's partner who worked as a helpline volunteer for vulnerable people who gave me the idea. he told me what it was like to hear people end their lives over the phone and how traumatic it can be. I thought how interesting it would be if I came up with a character who encouraged people to to do that rather than try and talk them out of it. I'm not writing a sequel, I'm afraid. Once I have finished writing a book, I move on to the next one and don't give those characters another thought, unless they pop up in another book. Laura does make a one line appearance in my latest, Her Last Move!
