Garon Whited Oh, yes, he has. He woke up in the beginning of "Shadows" and could do so. Either the venom worked through his system, or the Ascension Sphere had something to do with it, or any number of other things over the course of his eighty-plus years of nap. It's not explicitly addressed, but he seems pretty much recovered on that score.
