Thomas Smith I really enjoyed The Scorch Trials! It felt darker and more intense than The Maze Runner, and I liked how the characters had to deal with not only the environment but also the trust issues among themselves. The twists kept me hooked, and the ending left me eager for the next book.

Sara I believe that is the order in which the books were published. Within the story, the correct chronological order is: The Kill Order, The Fever Code, The Maze Runner, The Scorch Trials, and finally, The Death Cure. The Maze Runner Files is a collection of "files" from within the world of the story. I would recommend reading the main trilogy (Maze Runner, Scorch Trials, Death Cure) before you read the prequels (Kill Order and Fever Code).
