What was the significance of the paperweight at the end? I seem to remember it featured before...... but the book is so haphazard I can’t quite pinpoint it.

Jean It was the murder weapon
Phil The paperweight was most likely what Fergus used to kill Rory but also when the break-in happened, the intruder (Fergus) had made a neat pile of Rory's papers and put a paperweight on top.
