Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Scott J. Thurman I used to ski with another kid who's family was extremely wealthy. Their family name adorned some of the most extravagant hotels all over the world...and still, do. The family was also very prominent in the Mormon church. My friend was a serious partier (drugs/drinking/etc...), and his family eventually found out. His father told him he needed to get straight and serve a church mission, or he would be disinherited. He went on a mission...much like the character in my book.
