what made u write this book ?

Rachel Renée Russell Hi Jessica, there were a TON of things that made me want to write this book. When I was a little kid, I LOVED writing! So as I got older, I made sure to write in my spare time. I wanted to tell a story that showed how fun (and sometimes scary!) middle school can be. So Dork Diaries was born!!
