Serena H I personally think that it is as good as Six Of Crows and Crooked Kingdom. It is a very different story than SoC, but it is still worth reading. I think that people don’t really like it because there is a bit of a romance, however I find the romance to not takeaway from the book at all. I heard that you don’t need to read the Grisha Trilogy before King Of Scars, but the main character from King Of Scars is from the Grisha Trilogy so it’s probably worth reading. That’s what I decided to do.
Cora You would probably have to read The Grisha Trilogy first, before Six of Crows or King of Scars. I absolutely loved The Grisha Trilogy, and in order to understand who Sankta Alina (Alina Starkov, protagonist of The Grisha Trilogy), The Darkling, or Nikolai Lantsov is, you'd probably have to read the Grisha Trilogy.
