D'ebook Sharing asked Brenda Tetreault:

Where do you get the idea for your character names?

Brenda Tetreault During my 'day job', I work in a convenience store on a military installation, and I've met some really amazing people that serve in the Armed Forces, and some of them have some really cool or unusual names. If I like a name, it's get put on a list that I keep. Sometimes a name gets put on the list because I like the person the name belongs. There's a column with last names, and a column with first names.

When a new character is being written, I consult the list and mix and match until I find a name I like.

But sometimes, I name a character completely after someone I've met and will even model the character after them. Those are the special ones. And those are the characters that usually stick with me the longest.
