Goodreads asked Lisa A. Nichols:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Lisa A. Nichols Learn how to finish things. For so long, I would reach a certain point in a story (usually about 30%-50%) and stop, because it got hard and I started to think maybe it was just a bad idea, so I'd move on to the new shiny idea--and wound up with a lot of half-finished stories. The thing no one told me is that stalling point happens to EVERYONE. The only thing to do is keep going, and it will get easier again. So when a story gets hard to write, don't chase the shiny new idea!
