Rachel Renée Russell Hi Lotus, that’s such a great question! Some of the events that happened in Dork Diaries ACTUALLY happened in real life! My daughters, Erin and Nikki, were bullied a lot in school, so mean girls would gossip about them and spread rumors. And one time my daughter Erin WAS hit with a volleyball! I’m not sure if she had a wacky dream like Nikki Maxwell, but I’m sure that it was super embarrassing!
