It basically breaks down where / or how a beast comes from — fun fact Basilisks hatch from chicken eggs that are placed under toads! And their habits, behaviors, and interesting attributes. If you don't know who newt scamander is I suggest googling it, to better get a picture of what this books about. If you do, then just imagine what he would write if he was Jane Goodall (less)
