Among the manor’s visitors are four who claim her heart in impossible ways: Sterling Cawley, a tragic and tender ghost whose devotion transcends death; Kaem, a sin-born demon who teaches her indulgence without shame; Ozyth, an eldritch water-being, fluid and reverent, who worships her like the tide; and Corin Vaelyth, a dark and dangerous fae whose power is as seductive as it is unpredictable.
Yet even as Eleanor begins to find love among monsters, whispers of her lost lover, Leopold, follow her through every shadowed corridor. His death was a mystery, his undeath, an even darker one, and the truth waiting beyond Rooksgrave’s gates may cost Eleanor everything she’s learned to want.
