Jake that's harsh plus the shining inst that scary It chapter 2 and It have a lot of jump scare's.
Swapna No way. My 13 year old found it silly rather than scary.
Hannah📖 yes I thinks so there are parts that are creepy and those are scary
Willa L It's not exactly scary at all just a bit spooky unless the reader is in like kindergarten. I read this and I am in middle school, and it was fine. I even read it a night and it was creepy, but not horrifying.
Rebecca I'm scared of scary things and it wasn't scary scary! I agree with other reviews that as a movie it has the potential to be scarier, but as a novel read during the day, it's fine! It might be scarier for younger readers, but it's not terribly scary.
Peter I think if it was a movie, there would be potential to make it very scary. As a book, without the scary music and jump scares, I found it more intriguing than scary.
Tanis I would be scary for primary-school aged kids.
Arimathea It was scary but not "keep the lights on all night" terrifying.
Priya Arun Yes it is scary, and creepy.
