Hi Jonathan, I enjoyed listening to you on This Is Horror podcast. Came away feeling inspired to get back to work. Do you get amped with ideas during the fall? There's something about it that always gives me a boost. I think it must go back to when I was a boy, making paper Mache masks for Halloween and obsessing over highly edited Saturday night horror films on network television.

Jonathan Janz For sure, Dennis. For me, the ideas are always percolating, but this time of year is especially exciting for precisely the reasons you talked about. I've always loved the fall, Halloween, the sound of crisp leaves underfoot, and the *smell* of those leaves...man, I get chills just thinking about it. I'm hoping to finish editing my current WIP as soon as possible so I can dive back into my other book and finish it. It's definitely more fun writing in the fall than editing.
