Why did you abandoned Donovan Craine after the second book? I feel like those two had great potential to overcome their prejustice and grow in their character till they finally get together. Despite that, I did enjoy your other series and Gins fiestyness :D still do, I reread Mythos academy quite regularly :-)

I felt like Gin and Donovan were going to have the exact same argument in every book about her being an assassin and him being a cop, and I thought that might get a bit old after a while, both for me to write and for readers to read. I just didn't think he had long-term potential as a character, so that's why he is not a bigger presence in the Elemental Assassin series.
