That is completely illegal! But aside from them, there was a naturalist queen named Theodora who had a horse as her familiar, and that was pretty cool. I also love the war queens, especially ancient Aethiel. And of course I will always adore Elsabet, the Mad Oracle.

I saw that you were going to possibly be speaking at the Bookcon in New York come June. What are your thoughts on that? What should people expect or not expect from it? Also will you be hanging around for a bit afterwords so that readers can ask you to sign stuff? Or no?
