I've only read one Stephen King before, 11/22/63, which I LOVED. I don't do horror of any kind...is this a reasonable title to dig into, sans horror?

Under the Dome is not too scary. It has a couple of difficult to read parts that have to do with "crowd mentality." It is definitely not a Stephen King horror book!
