I just started reading The Invisible Library and was struck by a similarity between the dragons in your book who hold the balance of technology and magic and the old PC game The Longest Journey, in which there are dragons who have the same responsibility. Are you familiar with that game, and did it inspire your dragon idea?

Genevieve Cogman I'm afraid I've never heard of that game before, so I can say that I wasn't inspired by it. Also, my dragons don't exactly hold the balance between technology and magic, but you'll probably see more of that as you get further into the book. I hope you enjoy it.
