Okay honestly when you wrote the character role for Kat, did you think of her as a misunderstood girl? Or where you actually trying to make her seem like a bad person? I have to ask because everytime I re-read the series I always love her the most. I think of her as a misunderstood girl.

When I write Queen Katharine I’m only trying to make her...herself. Kat will be Kat. She’ll be a good person or a bad one, depending on who you ask. But that’s true of us all.
From a writerly standpoint she’s depicted with a more sympathetic eye from her own POV, surrounded by people who are on her side, like Pietyr.

Kendare Blake:
I can't find the 3rd book in the Three of Crowns series anywhere! I have been looking for two years now since I read the first two and I can't continue without reading it:( None of the book stores in my city carry the 3rd only the 4th and a novella. You probably wont know the reason for this but I thought I'd ask any way?
