Hi Michael! I just finished Revelations and I am currently on Chronicles. Unfortunately I’m not much of a reader because of my ADD, but the way you write Riyria like a movie has helped SO MUCH. Thank you for that!! One of my favorite supporting characters throughout Revelations was Wyatt. What was your thought process in writing his story specifically? Have him and Allie always been together? What happened to her mom?

Michael J. Sullivan Hey Britt, I'm so glad you enjoyed the tale. There is much more to the stories of Wyatt, Allie, and Elden that I would like to write about one day. No Wyatt and Allie have not always been together. I would tell you more, but then that may "lock me in" to something that I may write about more one day - maybe as a short story or something like that. So for now I, unfortunately, will remain mute on the subject. Not because I don't' want to tell you, but becuase I'd hate to ruin the surprise if I do write more.

Just finished the series! One thing that bothered me, though. At the beginning of Theft of Swords, we learn Riyria has been together 12 years. Fast forward to Rise of Empire, even further to Heir of Novron, and we still hear both Royce and Hadrian say they’ve been together 12 years, when we can tell that several years have passed in each volume. For continuity’s sake, shouldn’t this be 15-16 years by the end of HoN?
