Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Karen Berg-Raftakis I have always loved murder mysteries and one day I had checked out three of them from the library. One ended up being pretty bad and the other two were mediocre and I had the thought, "Geez, I could probably write a better mystery than this!" I had tried to do so a few times in the past, but after writing a couple of chapters, I would become intimidated and give up. I obviously wasn't ready then and so it didn't happen. That is what gave me the inspiration to write my first mystery. The second, most recent book of the series, revolves around a Singles Dance. The idea for that just popped into my head one day and everything afterwards revolved around that concept.
