Joy, Random question / thought, Do you think you can ever get someone to sketch out the main characters from the Nikki Galena series? I'd love to see the characters you created be brought out and feel more real. In your books, the way you describe these people is so in depth and it'd be super cool to see what they really look like! Especially Nikki and Joseph being described as beautiful people. :)

Joy Ellis Hi Ashley. Good point! That would be an interesting exercise. Strangely I have never actually described Nikki in any of the Fen Series books. All the other characters have physical description, Nikki doesn't. To me she is all about emotions and strength of character. I describe her so that you will understand her, know what she's thinking and how she will react, but I never tell you what she looks like. It was my plan that the reader should provide their own take on how she looks, and in doing so personalise her and make her theirs. Quirky? Maybe, but I love it that people see her in so many different ways. Even so, a picture book of the characters would be great fun to do, so thanks for the idea! Take care, Joy
