Hi Fiona! I've just recently discovered your books. I read The Address first and then immediately read The Masterpiece. I thoroughly enjoyed both of them. At a Literary Club meeting last week I told the members that if they loved NYC, historical fiction, and strong, interesting women they should read your books. Now they want me to tell about the books. Is there anything specific you'd like me to tell them?
Fiona Davis
Hi Cindy- thanks so much for spreading the word about the books - I'm thrilled you enjoyed them. All three (The Dollhouse, The Address, and The Masterpiece) take place in New York City in two different time periods, with an element of mystery that connects the two plots. I also love a good plot twist, so there's at least one in every book. The themes that resonate with me are how women's voices and agency have changed over time, the importance of the arts in our lives, and the hidden stories tucked beneath New York's historic timeline. Best, F.

Your novel is, in my view, brilliant and is truly a "page turner"! I have information to share with you and further questions I'd like to ask. May I, therefore, give you my email address -- either here or at some other address you will designate -- soon, please? I am now 76 and this story resonated greatly with me. I've lived in N.Y.C. non-stop since '63 and my first time here was Summer 1956. Lewis
