Where did you ever get the ideas for the gone series? It’s so intricately spun and I’m just curious where you came up with this idea.

It's never about the Big Idea, that's easy. Combine LOST with THE STAND, basically. The hard part - the reason you get paid the big bucks - is the thousands of much smaller ideas. How you play an action scene. How you write dialog. Endless what-if and if-then scenarios. As to how that happens in my head, damned if I know. I don't think any writer does.

Would you write more books inf the GONE series after VILLAIN and HERO if people really really and enjoyed it and wanted more books? I love this series I've never read a book/series better than this! I'm reading monster right now and I'm excited for VILLAIN and HERO!
