Laurie Larsen Hi Jane! Thanks so much for asking. Yes, Pawleys Island has a lot of meaning for me. I visited there every summer with my extended family during my childhood. In fact, I wrote a little non-fiction companion book about the behind-the-scenes stories that led to my writing of the series, Pawleys Island Paradise: A Companion.

We currently live in Murrells Inlet after spending 25 years in land-locked Illinois. LOVE IT THERE! Love being able to go to the beach every day if I want. And it definitely inspires me to write.
