Hi! I know you just came out with magnolia summer and it was AMAZING! But I was wondering when you plan to have the next book in that series out?

That's a great question, Samantha! I'm not sure. I'm contracted to write another Medieval fairy tale, which I'm working on now, but hopefully soon I can write the second book in this Southern Seasons series. I always intended there to be three books, but I could easily write more. I wanted to see how well this first book would do, since it's a whole new setting, but since it's doing so well, I know I need to get to writing Book 2! Pray for me to be able to focus and write faster! LOL!

Hi Melanie, I finished The Silent Songbird and completely loved it. I do wonder, are the Le Wyse family and the Gerstenberg family connected somehow that I missed? Also a great opportunity has arisen for me about publishing my novel and I am super excited as I head into the second draft. And I am also super excited about your Aladdin retelling and Mulan retelling.
