I usually have to force myself to take a break.. I make a rule for myself that I'm going to stay away from my computer for 24 hours. Then after telling myself I can't, no matter what, log onto my computer, suddenly a new idea comes to fix my writers block issue. I jot down the idea on paper and my fingers are itching the next day to get back to work. It's true that once we tell our selves we can't do something, then we want todo it.
