Roshani Chokshi Read widely! And don't feel pressured to write anything immediately. There's no expiration date for a good story. Becoming an author requires no particular background, but I've found that the best fodder for stories comes from a full life. So grab hold of opportunities where you can, and listen to the stories of others with compassion. good luck!
