I have always loved to write, but reading inspires me a lot. Reading books from my favorite authors often keep me inspired. One particular author V.C Andrews is one of my very favorites. Her Flowers in the Attic and Petals on the Wind are two books (exclusively written by her) that I have read repeatedly. I still love how these books have kept me hooked even while I reread them. I tried to use this same formula for the writing of my own novels Love Child and Child No More. When readers tell me they couldn't put my books down, I smile because that is exactly the kind of writing I aimed for. Suspense books are my favorite and I love to read books that keep me hooked. I have read some books that I hated to put down so I read them and actually finished them late into the night.
