Goodreads asked Timothy L. Radle:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Timothy L. Radle Your ideas are good enough to interest you, right? I mean, you've spent months writing this, and when you read it, you get excited, right?

Find an editor that is in line with your goals and the spirit of your project, and allow those scrutinizing eyes to bulletproof your project. Then, share it with the world. I can say from experience that though it requires a massive amount of gumption (insert TV/movie reference of your choice) to release your work to the world, it is one of the most rewarding experiences a writer can experience.
