I was inspired by my fascination both with witches and with parallel universes. All of my books are based on things that I'm interested in. I don't think I could write about something unless it fascinated me.

I didn't receive my copy yet so I don't have anything to ask. I just wanted to tell you that Starcrossed is one of my favorite Trilogies. Unfortunately I live in Qatar, so I don't have a chance to come to book events or signings, or else I'd stand in your line for hours!

Loved your Starcrossed trilogy, always enjoyed modern Greek mythology with a twist!! Though that leads me to my question, how did you come with concept for Trial by Fire? It seems very different from your first series about Greek Gods and Goddesses, and now leaning towards the paranormal of the YA world.
