Goodreads asked Season Sinclair:

How do you get inspired to write?

Season Sinclair I read a lot of historical literature surrounding the time period I write about, and many of the true events of history provide inspiration for my stories. However, things happening around me--conversations I hear, people I meet, even the weather--also provide subject matter.

I also have a great playlist of instrumental songs form the movie Gettysburg and the composer Michael W. Smith, that help me when I sit down to write. It drowns out the other sounds around me and makes the words on the page seem more real.
