Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

John J. Higgins The Rescue A Ghost Assassin Affair began as a love story of sorts but the idea of how the Russian mob and Intelligence services operate flowed through it. The idea that an organization of assassins that began in the times of the Roman gladiators with no allegiance to governments but to a higher morality intrigued me. And the idea of new modern methods of warfare, real there is another arms race made a great backdrop. In my career I pursued complex international crime organizations so it was easy for me to write.
