Goodreads asked Forrest Parkyr:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Forrest Parkyr Read. Read, watch, play. But don't just live the lives of others, also live your own! There's nothing better than drawing from your own experience. If you can hit the nail on the head with atmosphere and emotion, everything else will be sure to follow.

Don't underestimate yourself. You can and will produce a lovely work of either fiction or non-fiction. People will love you and the art you have creatively produced. You are amazing.

Don't rush anything. I know you want to get it out there ASAP, and we would love to read it ASAP, but if it's just not flowing from pen to paper, then don't fret. Sometimes great things take longer to craft.
