What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Ariz Brune I don't know if there is a "best thing" about being a writer. There are many good and great things and there are many not so great things, but the one that stands out the most to me is a visible milestone. "Oh look, I started writing... Oh wow, I've almost made it halfway... Oooh, I'm halfway there... Gah! I'm almost done! Woo-hoo! It's finished!!" No, it's not that easy, but it is easy to see when you step back and look at where you were when you started.
