Was there any particular reason you decided to write about mostly female characters in Red/Grey Sister? I really enjoyed it because I feel like a lot of women in fantasy books are only there to serve the purpose of being a love interest and it was really refreshing reading about a cast of characters that have very few men!

It seemed entirely appropriate given the setting.
It is interesting to note that writing a book where the cast is almost all female has drawn only praise of this sort, whereas writing a book where the cast was almost all male (again it felt appropriate given the setting) drew a small but very vocal amount of condemnation and accusations of misogyny... as did writing a blog post expressing the view that it was no crime to write a book where the cast were not evenly split along gender lines.

Hello is there any music that you think would fit jorg like a theme, not a music that he would like but a music that you think represents him well or the broken empire series as a total? If there is none them maybe a music that you like to listen to get inspiration for the books also would be great to.Thanks.
