Book 5 is up in the air, Jadiel. It was scheduled for later this year, but I had to push it back in order to give myself a much needed breather from the story and work on some other things to clear my head. Just means it's going to be that much better when it finally launches in 2019!

Bryce, I'm highly curious as to your writing process; is it more of a structuring things bit-by-bit thing with you in a Brandon Sanderson sort-of way or do you tend to lean more toward freeflowing with a basic idea in your mind of the story itself, or perhaps not even that? You mentioned in one of your Q+A's down below that you're a 'slow writer', so I'd love to hear more about how you deal with that sort of stuff!

Bryce, love your books! One thing that I like in particular is the depth of Raz's character. These days there are too many flat 'grimdark' characters who have no real motivation for what they do except the world is an awful place. In your books, sometimes the world is awful, but Raz's actions are layered with motivation. What inspired Raz - so brutal on the surface, but layered with so much depth and history?
